Create a community viewing experience

Unexpected Peace is rooted in the idea that peace starts with recognizing the humanity of the other, even those whose ideas differ profoundly from our own. The parable like nature of the stories the viewer encounters in this documentary offer a unique opportunity for self-reflection and community discussion or engagement.

Unexpected Peace is best viewed as a group experience whether that is live and in-person or a virtual experience. Each of us lives within our own world view with our own set of issues and conflicts. Unexpected Peace is conversation starter that can help communities begin and carry on their quest for nonviolence and for peace.

Our video hosting service, kinema.com offers three options for group viewing as identified by the three icons below. In each case the event organizer has the option to create an event and sell tickets through the Kinema infrastructure or to pay the rental fee (licence) upfront so that individuals can view the production without paying.
